About

We exist to close the gap between idea and object.

Creovo Labs is a US-based product design and development firm built for founders who are serious about bringing physical products to market. We own the entire development path — under one roof.

Our Mission

To turn ambitious product ideas into manufacturable realities — with the design quality, CAD precision, and production awareness that founders need to move fast and build right.

Design Quality

Form language, ergonomics, and surface craft that reflect what your product is worth — not what was fastest to model.

CAD Precision

Geometry that a manufacturer can actually build from — parametric, fully annotated, DFM-reviewed, and ready to hand off.

Production Awareness

Manufacturing constraints — draft angles, wall thickness, tooling access, material limits — built into every design decision, not retrofitted at the end.

Why We Exist

“Founders building physical products face a fragmented development landscape.”

Designers hand off concept decks that engineers can't build from. CAD vendors produce geometry that fails DFM. Prototypes reveal problems that should have been caught in the model. The result is wasted time, wasted money, and products that either never reach market or reach it with compromises that hurt the brand.

We built Creovo Labs to eliminate that gap entirely — by being the team that holds design and engineering fluency at the same time, and never lets go of the product until it's genuinely ready to build.

01
The Designer Problem

Most industrial designers are trained to concept and present — not to model for manufacturing. The result: beautiful sketches that become engineering nightmares when someone tries to build them.

02
The Engineer Problem

Engineers who take over from designers often lose the design intent entirely. The product becomes functional but unrefined — something that works but doesn't sell, doesn't feel right, doesn't reflect the brand.

03
The Agency Problem

Agencies that promise end-to-end development often subcontract the hard parts, hand off at the point of most risk, and disappear when tooling problems emerge. Founders are left holding unshippable files and no recourse.

04
The Translation Loss Problem

Every time a product changes hands — from designer to CAD modeler to DFM reviewer to manufacturer — something gets lost. Intent erodes. Details fall through. We solve this by never creating a hand-off in the first place.

What We Stand For

The principles that
drive every decision.

Value 01
Craft Over Speed

We move fast where it matters and slow down where precision counts. A surface that's wrong isn't faster to fix later — it's just wrong later. We get it right the first time.

Value 02
Honesty First

We tell clients what we actually think — about timelines, feasibility, cost, and design decisions. No false optimism. No vague commitments to avoid hard conversations.

Value 03
Manufacturing Awareness

We think about how something gets built at the same time we think about how it looks. DFM isn't a separate pass — it's baked into every line and surface from the start.

Value 04
Accountability Without Gaps

One team. One point of contact. Continuous ownership from brief through handoff. Problems don't fall through the cracks when there are no cracks to fall through.

Value 05
Specificity Over Vagueness

Every deliverable is named, defined, and scoped before work begins. Every claim we make about a product is grounded in geometry, data, or test results — not opinion dressed as expertise.

Value 06
Respect for the Founder's Risk

Founders put real capital, time, and reputation into physical products. We treat that seriously. Every decision we make is weighed against what it costs the client if we're wrong.

Our Differentiators

What makes Creovo Labs
different.

01
Structure
End-to-End Under One Roof

Industrial design, advanced CAD, surfacing, prototyping, and manufacturing handoff — all in a single team that never subcontracts the hard parts. No translation loss. No fragmented vendors. No one pointing fingers. The whole development path is owned by one group that cares about the outcome.

02
Staffing
Senior-Led, Not Junior-Staffed

Every engagement is run by senior talent — not pitched by principals and delegated to juniors after the contract is signed. The people who scope the work are the people who do the work. You get experience, judgment, and accountability at every stage, not just at kickoff.

03
Methodology
DFM Built In From Day One

Manufacturing awareness isn't a final-stage audit for us — it informs every design decision we make. Wall thickness, draft angles, parting lines, material constraints, and tooling access are considered at the sketch stage, not discovered as problems during DFM review. This is the difference between a product that's beautiful and a product that's buildable.

04
Delivery
Files That Are Actually Ready

We don't hand off concept decks or aspirational geometry. We hand off production-ready CAD files, DFM documentation, surface quality reports, and technical drawings that manufacturers can work directly from. The quality of the handoff package is how we measure whether a project succeeded.

Who We Work With

Built for founders
and teams who build things.

Primary Client
Startup Founders

US-based founders building physical goods across consumer electronics, lifestyle products, hardware, and beyond. You have a clear vision and need a development partner with the technical depth to execute it.

Clear product vision, no production-ready files yet
Need design + engineering under one roof
First-time hardware founders or experienced operators
Working toward a fundraise, launch, or pilot run
Primary Client
Early-Stage Product Companies

Teams moving from MVP or proof-of-concept toward a market-ready product. You've validated the idea. Now you need files that manufacturers can actually build from — and a partner who understands what that takes.

Have some assets but need production-quality geometry
Approaching tooling and need DFM confidence
Need a second-generation design with manufacturing intent
Preparing for a retail, DTC, or B2B product launch
Secondary Client
Product Managers & R&D Teams

Growing companies that need senior CAD, surfacing, or DFM support without the overhead of a full in-house engineering team. We plug in exactly where depth is needed — and step back when it isn't.

In-house team stretched or missing specific capability
Need Class-A surfacing on a complex organic form
Pre-production DFM audit before tooling submission
Senior CAD contractor without the agency overhead
Secondary Client
Brands Expanding Physical Lines

Established brands entering physical product for the first time, or expanding into new categories. We bring the industrial design and manufacturing fluency that brand agencies — however talented — simply don't carry.

Strong brand identity, no product development process
New category launch requiring hardware expertise
Brand-licensed product requiring CMF and DFM alignment
Second-generation product refresh with manufacturing improvement
How We Think

Our approach
to every project.

We don't have a process we follow because it's our process — we have principles we apply because they consistently produce better outcomes.

We start every project with questions, not deliverables. What is this product actually trying to do? Who is it for? What does success look like at 12 months? What's the manufacturing budget and what tooling constraints does that impose?

The answers to those questions shape everything — the design direction, the material choices, the CAD strategy, the prototype approach. A product for a $15 retail price point gets designed differently than one for a $400 price point. We account for that from day one, not as an afterthought.

We also believe in telling clients the truth, even when it's uncomfortable. If a design direction won't be manufacturable at the target cost, we say so. If a timeline is unrealistic, we say so. Trusted partners tell you what you need to hear — not what you want to hear.

01
Listen before designing

We ask a lot of questions upfront. The brief shapes everything — and a weak brief produces a product that answers the wrong question.

02
Design and engineer simultaneously

Form and manufacturing intent are developed together, not sequentially. A design that's beautiful but unbuildable is not a design.

03
Build to validate, not to impress

Prototypes exist to answer engineering questions. We prototype ruthlessly early and cheaply — so expensive surprises happen at the $200 stage, not the $50,000 tooling stage.

04
Document everything

Every design decision, test result, and revision is documented. When you hand off to a manufacturer, they have everything they need — and so do you, if you ever need to change vendors.

05
Stay engaged past the handoff

We don't disappear when files are delivered. We support tooling review, first-article inspection, and production ramp — because that's when the real problems surface.

Honest Positioning

What we don't do.

We'd rather tell you upfront than take the work and disappoint you. Knowing our limits is part of how we keep our commitments.

Electronic engineering & PCB designWe design the mechanical and industrial envelope. For electronics, firmware, and PCB layout, we partner with or refer to trusted electronics engineering specialists.
Graphic design & brand strategyPhase 4 covers product identity and packaging. Full brand strategy, campaign creative, and digital marketing are outside our scope — but we can refer partners who do it well.
Manufacturing ownershipWe support, coordinate, and review manufacturing — but we don't own the factory floor. We help you find and manage the right manufacturer, not replace them.
Software & app developmentIf your product has a companion app or embedded software, that work is outside our scope. We design the physical object and its interface language — not the code behind it.
Rush work without proper scopingWe don't take on work we can't do well on the timeline given. If you need something that requires cutting corners, we'll tell you that — and either rescope or decline.
